Just outside Greenville, Spotted Cat Winery offers something different: fruit wines made from local blueberries, raspberries, apples, grapes, and other Maine-grown fruits, with lovely gardens on site.
Their small shop room is a great stop to pick up a bottle for sipping on the deck or a unique local gift to bring home. Popular picks include Blueberry Wine, Katahdin Sunset, and Strawberry Rhubarb. Fruit wine doesn't taste like traditional grape wine, a fun, totally local twist, great chilled or paired with dessert.
