"My wife and I have three grown sons, each of whom are married with three children. We needed a place to accommodate all 17 of us that was mobility accessible. Bingo. King's Landing. We have just enjoyed a wonderful week of laughing together, singing together, eating together, praying together, playing games together, and just being together for our once-every-two-year gathering from Maine, Virginia, and Massachusetts. We have stayed at a number of places over the years, but nothing has compared to this. As one of my sons said, "This place really hits it out of the ballpark." If you can think of an amenity, it's quite likely here. The kitchen and laundry facilities are remarkable. Very spacious dining area and Great Room. Spectacular view of Moosehead Lake. Two-minute walk into downtown Greenville. Our grandchildren visited the public library, perused a book sale, ordered a snack or beverage from the new Greenville food truck, and stopped by other shops. They enjoyed paddle boarding, swimming, kayaking, karaoke, and the amazing game room. The adults enjoyed the sauna and hot tub. We heard the blast of the Katahdin as it was coming and going on its daily tours. We listened to the loons. We watched the gulls and what appeared to be three eagles soaring overhead. We never met the owner, but we had specific evidence that he delights in a positive experience for his guests. The property manager (Bill Plume) was very kind and responsive to any requests. And all of this is just the beginning. We would highly recommend this location to anyone. There are many ways to spend money, but we felt that this turned out to be the best possible investment that we could have made. There is nothing like memories of wonderful family times together in a spacious, super clean, finely appointed, beautiful facility like King's Landing."

"We had an amazing stay at this cabin! It was absolutely beautiful, very clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The cabin was well-stocked with plenty of amenities, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We had so much fun during our time here and truly appreciated how well everything was maintained. "I've stayed in a lot of vacation rentals over the years - family trips, guys' weekends, business retreats - and I can honestly say King's Landing stands out. The first thing that hits you is the location. Being right on the lake changes everything. Early mornings with coffee overlooking the water, quiet evenings watching the light fade over the snow - it slows you down in the best way. There's something grounding about it. One of the highlights of the trip was heading out snowmobiling straight from the property. Being on the lake made it incredibly convenient. No hauling equipment all over town - just gear up and go. We had an absolute blast, and it added that sense of adventure that makes a winter trip memorable. Inside, the house is just as impressive as the setting. It's spacious without feeling cold or sterile. There's room for everyone to spread out, but the open layout makes it easy to come together, whether around the kitchen island, in the game room, or outside in the hot tub overlooking the lake. What stood out to me most: the kitchen is built for real cooking, not just reheating takeout; the bedrooms have comfortable mattresses and I had a good sleep; and the game room gave us something to do at night, with a poker table and pool tournaments. Everything was clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully set up. Check-in was easy. Communication was straightforward. No surprises - which, at this stage in life, is exactly what you want. If you're looking for a place where you can relax, reconnect, and still have a little adventure mixed in, King's Landing delivers. It's the kind of place you book again, and recommend without hesitation."

"We had an amazing stay at Kings Landing in Greenville, Maine. The cabin has a beautiful luxury feel with incredible attention to detail in every room - everything from the décor to the layout made it feel both upscale and cozy. It was spotless, thoughtfully stocked, and clearly cared for with pride. The location was perfect for winter adventures. We spent our days snowmobiling and skiing nearby, and it was such a treat to come back to a warm, comfortable space that felt like home. "The views and home were stunning, with massive decks overlooking the water and enough space to accommodate all 15 of us inside and out. We loved how much hiking and fishing there was right on the property, along with the kayaks and paddle boards. The house was immaculate and all the beds and linens were amazing quality. Perfect for any family that wants to get into the peace and nature of the woods and lake."

"This place was absolutely mind blowing, from the views to the amenities! The Crown Bar was a blast and a super neat addition to the home. We had loads of fun using the ATV and cruising the beautiful town. The home is practically on the water and had two boat slips we could use. We had so much fun singing karaoke and playing pool in the downstairs game room, and group sessions in the sauna were amazing. 10/10, only amazing memories."

"We will definitely stay at King's Landing again! It's very spacious. There were 12 of us and we didn't feel crowded. It was cozy and welcoming, and the entirety of the place was relaxing. The beds were incredibly comfortable and it was wonderful having a bathroom everywhere. I absolutely love the accommodations for the baby. It has most everything needed for our little one."

"King's Landing truly captures the spirit of Vacationland. From the moment we arrived, the views of Moosehead Lake took our breath away. The home is beautiful, spacious, welcoming, and filled with thoughtful touches. We spent mornings drinking coffee on the deck watching loons glide by, afternoons kayaking quiet coves, and evenings gathered around the Crown Bar or relaxing in the sauna. It's close enough to walk into Greenville for dinner, yet peaceful and private among the pines."

"I loved staying here. It was beautifully maintained, with room for the whole family. We were right across the street from the lake and town was in walking distance. Loved sitting on the deck with my coffee. We all really enjoyed the game room: pool, ping pong, and tons of board games. If you're looking to go to Maine this is definitely the place to stay."

"The hosts were by far the best we've seen for property managers (we rent 4-6 homes per year). The team was incredibly responsive, proactive, professional, and just great people. The home itself is beyond compare and had every amenity needed: coffee and coffee makers, laundry on three floors with detergent and dryer sheets, soap and shampoo in all eight bathrooms, and every pot or pan you could need. The commercial-grade ice machine was awesome and we used the bar every day. Such a great property; we look forward to revisiting annually."

"We had a wonderful time at King's Landing. The house and location are perfect: walking distance to everything in Greenville, and spectacular lake views. The interior is gorgeous and decorated so nicely. Every single detail has been thought of, and several of us commented that it was the best vacation rental we've ever stayed in. The teenagers enjoyed the game room and the adults loved gathering on the decks. The management team was kind and quick to respond. We can't wait to go back!"

"This place is unreal! We planned a last-minute family reunion. There were 11 of us and one child, and the home was the perfect size. Having a family lobster dinner at that table in the dining room was wonderful, and the kitchen was easy to navigate and cook in as everything is organized, neat, clean, and labeled. We grilled skewers and sipped martinis in the bar, then laughed until we cried playing games in the game room. Sunrise coffee over Moosehead Lake was a daily ritual. Highly recommend."

"We brought the extended family, so having ensuite baths in every bedroom was a game changer. The lodge is both high-end and incredibly comfortable. We had a blast dressing up and making cocktails in the Crown Bar. The layout was perfect: we could split up for different activities without feeling crowded, then come together for meals and game-room fun. The location is unbeatable, steps from shops and restaurants, with the lake and dock right out front."
