Boating & Marinas
Moosehead Lake is the largest lake in Maine and the crown jewel of the region, endless water for cruising, fishing, and exploring. Big Lake Marina, a private boat launch and gas fill-up a few lots over, is free for King's Landing guests, with trailer parking available at King's Landing; there is also a public launch at the Junction.
Up to two private boat slips are available on request at booking: slips #8 and #9, both at Lakeside behind the Lakeside shops on Pritham Ave in downtown Greenville (between Grinds Coffee and the Dockside Restaurant), clearly labeled and sized for boats up to 25'. A public boat dock directly in front of the house is handy for loading people and gear (4-hour maximum, no overnight). Your boat must be insured and registered to use the Lakeside docks, which are shared with the Dockside Restaurant, so tie up securely and check your lines.
