Departure Checklist
We hope you had a relaxing and memorable stay! Before you head out, please run through this short checklist to help us prepare the home for the next guests.
Inside the Lodge
- Place all used towels in the bathroom or laundry area.
- Load and run the dishwasher if you used dishes.
- Empty the refrigerator and freezer — take any food or drinks with you, including from the bar.
- Leave worn house Crocs (if used) in the washing machine. Please don't start a wash.
Trash & Recycling
Leave the trash bins in their original locations — the cleaning crew handles removal to the transfer station.
Energy & Security
- Turn off all lights, TVs, and the sauna.
- Close and lock all doors and windows.
- Return any kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets, and water gear to the Paddle Vault and secure it.
Before You Go
Do a quick sweep for personal items — especially in drawers, closets, and under beds (chargers, headphones, toiletries, sunglasses, and swimsuits are commonly left behind). Then message us to let us know you've checked out safely. If you enjoyed your stay, we'd be grateful for a review — we read every one.
