Departure Checklist

We hope you had a relaxing and memorable stay! Before you head out, please run through this short checklist to help us prepare the home for the next guests.

Inside the Lodge

• Load and run the dishwasher if you used dishes.
• Empty the refrigerator and freezer. Take any food or drinks with you, including from the bar.
• Leave worn house Crocs (if used) in the first floor washing machine. Please don't start a wash.

Trash & Recycling

Leave the trash bins in their original locations. The cleaning crew handles removal to the transfer station.

Energy & Security

• Turn off all lights, TVs, and the sauna.
• Close and lock all doors and windows.
• If used, fill up the side-by-side with non-ethanol gasoline; 90 or above.
• Return items to garage (BBQ, kayaks, paddleboards, side-by-side, and any other garage-stored equipment).

Before You Go

Do a quick sweep for personal items. Common places they hide:

• Wall plugs for phone chargers and cords.
• Items under the beds.
• Clothing in laundry baskets and laundry machines.
• Toiletries in bathrooms and showers.
• Food in both refrigerators & pantry shelves.
• Alcohol/drinks in the bar & bar refrigerator.
• Think about where you may have left jewelry, hats, sunglasses, swimwear, electronics, and any clothing on hooks or hangers.
