Right around town, enjoy lakeside casual fare at the Dockside Restaurant (pull your boat right up), burgers and beers at The Stress-Free Moose next door, or classic Maine fare and lobster rolls at Kelly's Landing. Jamison's (Jamo's) is the go-to for pizza and subs downtown, and Northwoods Gourmet Girl offers pantry staples, picnic items, fresh bread, wine, and a Sunday brunch.
For a special night out, Blair Hill Inn serves fine dining with stunning lake views and seasonal menus (reserve well in advance). Nearby Monson is worth the drive for The Quarry (a 2023 James Beard Award winner), Spring Creek Bar-B-Q's Texas-style barbecue, and Turning Page Farm Brewery. In Abbot, the Abbot Bakery turns out fresh donuts, pies, and made-to-order pot pies.
