Moosehead Mini Golf & Snack Shack
Just 5 minutes south of town in Shirley, this brand-new 18-hole mini golf course is fun for all ages, with beautiful landscaping and some ADA-accessible holes. There’s also a snack shack serving ice cream and cold drinks.

Mt. Kineo Golf Course (Rockwood)
- What it is: Historic 9-hole, 3000+ yards, par-36 course on the Mt. Kineo peninsula. Play 9 or 18; carts and club rentals available. Active golfers only (no ride-alongs).
- Getting there: Drive ~25–30 minutes from Greenville to Rockwood Public Landing, then take the Mt. Kineo Shuttle (~10-minute crossing). From the dock, follow signs to the clubhouse (short walk).
- Season: Late spring to early fall; shuttle runs more frequently in summer—check the day-of schedule.
- Tips: Bring cash or card for the boat and don’t miss the last return. Clubhouse offers snacks, drinks, and restrooms.
