House Rules

The Essentials

1. Please, leave your shoes at the door. Only socks, house slippers, or the provided guest Crocs and/or shoe covers are allowed in the home living spaces.
2. No smoking in the house, sauna or on the decks. A smoker’s Ember Corner is provided adjacent to the garage. Use ONLY the outdoor safety canisters for cigarette disposal.
3. No vaping in the house or sauna. Vaping is allowed on the decks.
4. No illegal substances or illegal activity on property at any time.
5. No pets. (Note: service animals must never be left unattended in the home).
6. No parties or unauthorized guests.
7. Events require prior approval and pre-authorized event booking.
8. No third-party services (massage, catering, etc.) without prior approval.
9. This property is for private lodging use by registered guests only. Commercial activities, professional photography, filming, or creating content for social media or subscription sites (e.g., OnlyFans, TikTok, YouTube) are strictly prohibited without prior written permission.
10. Please respect neighborhood quiet hours after 10:00 PM.
11. Treat the property as you would your own home — kindly leave things as you found them.
12. Maximum occupancy 20, sleeps 17 (three extra floor mattresses available upon request).
13. Children are not allowed in the sauna.
14. No glass in sauna or hot tub. Shatterproof alternatives are available in the Crown Bar in the cabinet below the lake map.
15. No sitting on the gaming tables, and no drinks or food on the pool and ping pong tables.
16. Please turn off lights, appliances, sauna when not in use.
17. No candles.
18. Please be mindful of our neighbor’s privacy and property.
19. Report any accidental damage immediately to management team.
20. No moving or rearranging the furniture.
21. Do not take any items from the home or property when you leave your stay.
22. CAUTION: Decks are slippery when wet or icy so be very careful.
23. Keep door screens closed to prevent nighttime insects from entering the home.
24. Only use the private boat slips listed in the manual offered by King’s Landing.
25. Do not leave any items at the dock or lakeside. Return all kayaks, paddle boards, lifejackets, beach towels, oars, towing gear, and ice chests to the Paddle Vault.
26. Please use the electronic fireplace only for ambient lighting, since the heating unit is inefficient to actually heat the space.
27. Do not use indoor bath towels outdoors. Designated Turkish beach/lake towels have been provided for use out of doors, and designated & branded microfiber spa towels have been made available for use with the exterior sauna.
28. Please use coasters on wood furniture.
29. Black makeup towels are provided. Please do not use white resort towels for this purpose.
30. No cleaning fish or game inside the house, garage, or on the grounds of the property.
31. Only handwash the culinary Tucci pots and pans to preserve their use for your future stay 🙂
32. Do not flush sanitary products, wipes of any kind (not even so called “flushable” wipes), paper towels or anything other than toilet paper down the toilets. Our rural system is sensitive and improper flushing can cause damage.
